Hey everyone,
I recently bought some kayaks with the intention of getting some cross bars to haul them around on. Well, I've been looking around online and have not been able to find any reliable info about which ones work best for this vehicle. Amazon reviews are sketchy at best and even then measurements in some of the listings are dubious. I know my roof bars are 49" apart and I honestly thought it would be simple to find some decent cross bars, but that isn't the case. If you are using a set that you like and would recommend I'd appreciate the feedback!

 

UPDATE:
I ended up buying the Amazon Basics cross bars after reading tons of reviews. The bars are lightweight but feel solid and look like they should hold up well. The only downside so far is that they whistle fairly loud between about 20mph and 40mph, after that it mostly goes away. I'm looking into a solution for that issue but it's low priority currently.

 

Are there caps on the ends of the bars? Try moving them forward and backwards some to calm down the wind noise.
Factory cross bars are flat, aero shaped to eliminate noise.
