2008 suburban electrical shortage/problem
I have a 2008 chevy sub 1500 4x4 80k miles and it is having electrical issues. I will be driving down the road and randomly the service 4x4, park assist, abs and traction control sensors will go off. My ac will also shut off and a couple times my door locks have gone off. I will also lose power to my dash gages. Most of the time it will go off and then rt back on. I notice it does it when my ac is on high! Please help

Its a shot in the dark, but might want to have the battery and alternator tested.. could be things crapping out when under load...
Check the connections at the alternator as well... if your battery is more then 3 years old I would for sure have it checked out...
Every time I have had some odd anomaly happen the root seems to always be the battery.. I think I am on number 4 now...

I have the same similar problem with my 2009 suburban. While driving the DVD will shut off restart and the ABs, airbag etc shuts off and resets. Sometimes there is a high pitch sound coming from speakers and I hit the center consol and it stops. Craziness. I have taken it to the dealer 5 times and they can find nothing.

Hi Jstout,
I'm sorry to hear that you have this concern with your Suburban. I understand that you have taken your vehicle back and forward to the dealership and there has not been a resolution. I will be glad to look further into this for you and create a case within our system for documentation purposes. Please send us a private message with your full contact information, VIN, current mileage, and involved dealership. I look forward to hear from you!

I had the same problems with my 2009 suburban Z71 with 95,000 miles. I had it in the shop 6 times. They could find nothing. Finally, they replaced the positive battery lead cable and the battery and so far (4 weeks) so good. No more flashing power so far! Good Luck!

2nd battery
I've had lots of problems with my suburban mainly in the hotter months. I will go out to start my car and the battery is dead. This happened right after we purchased the vehicle when it wuit working when i would be on a turn and had it serviced. Replaced battery and ground wires. The same problem is occurring now. We've only had this vehicle two years. I've read several other posts similar to this. What is the solution?
