Default 2008 suburban oil pressure

My oil pressure is rising to 50 lbs sometimes a little higher while accelerating is this normal?

it will rise as the oil pump is a positive displacement pump...faster it goes..more oil is pumped. it will rise until the pressure relief valve in the pump opens. not sure what number that is for your vehicle but 50 psi won't wash out bearings...80 i would question...100 is problems.

Thanks a lot for your advice I really appreciate it. It goes almost up to 80 sometimes but it usually shifts and drops back down.
