This morning was our first frozen day of the year with a hard rain last night. Went to get in the Suburban and all the doors were frozen shut so I hit the open button on the remote for the rear gate. It started to work, sounded like it released and then went silent. Can't open it manually or with switch on console. The rear window will release. I have checked fuses and relays but found no fualt. The dash display reads rear gate open, but can't open or push it closed to reset. When you push the keyfob open the rear lights flash once and go blank. Normally they flash as the gate motor runs. Any ideas?

I guess I was not clear in my post so more details. Got the doors open from inside after crawling thru rear window. Got warm enough today to thaw everything out with no issue. The rear gate still does not work even being thawed out. Comepletely silent. Push the fob button and at the main under hood fuse panel and hear a single click but no sound near the rear gate.

The rear window works fine from the fob. I pushed on the gate from inside and it is not does not open. Pushed on the outside to latch it again and reset the display on the dash panel but that did not work either
