Default 2008 Tahoe Steering Wheel Grinding Noise

When I turn my steering wheel left or right it makes a grinding nose. I have checked my power steering level and it is on full. Issue happends when im not moving and when im in motion.

Any suggestions?

Default Motor Mounts

Have them check your Motor Mounts. The one on the Driver side goes bad.

Yes, old thread but somebody might find it that needs help with this issue.

Intermediate steering shaft. Very common problem, I’ve had mine replaced twice on a 2003 but only 97k miles. I did the replacement once but it wasn’t fun getting it to line back up to insert the bolts. I had a YouTube video posted but recently removed it. Side-to-side motion makes a groaning sound.
