My 2009 Tahoe blows cold air out of passenger side and 7 times out of 10 WARM air out of driver's side. I called Chevrolet dealership and they said Body Control Module is probably bad....over $800 to fix. Is there anything else I can try??

The blend door actuator is a possibility. This is only a suggestion, not a diagnosis. I encourage you to take the vehicle in for a physical inspection. It can be difficult to give a diagnosis over the phone, or internet, without inspecting the vehicle.
Please keep us posted.

My mechanic told me it was a switch where it goes from hot to cold. He said I could replace it or just set it to cold for summer and hot for winter but you have to manually set it and it stays there. Usually I just run the passenger side air because every so often the driver's side will start working. It usually only malfunctions every so often so I haven't manually set it yet but this time it has been messed up for about two weeks so I'm going to set it. I have to go by my mechanic and let him show me how to do it and I will post it here.
Our a/c was non-existent just weeks after we purchased our Tahoe. We took it to the dealership & paid to fix it, they recharged the a/c and then the driver's side began to blow out somewhat cool air. I was told I'd have to repay to fix the driver's side issue as that had nothing to do with the initial problem. I'm so interested in what you all find out and if it's fixable without having to take it in again. When I called they said there may be a hose kinked?

Welcome to the forum... it sounds like you may have a blend door issue not so much an AC issue... what year model is your vehicle?
There is a relearn procedure that you can do depending on the year model you have... this only works if all of the components are working correctly, if a actuator motor or actuator is broken the relearn won't help...
Basically what could be happening is your AC is working fine but its being mixed with hot air from the heater because the door that separates the two functions is not working correctly or is blocked or stuck...

The air conditioning works and is cold on the passenger side and all rear vents; the 2 driver's vents blow out warm air and I keep them closed. A few weeks after we bought it we took it in and had the a/c system serviced so it's nice and cold except for my side
There are two possible solutions, 1) the blend door acutator(s) may need to be reset and relearned 2) the blend door actuator for the drivers side is defective and needs to be replaced...
The reason you get warm are is not due to an AC issue but the blend door, the blend doors are what move to allow cold air to be circulated or hot air to be circulated....
The AC only works when you turn it on, however the heater works anytime the engine is running, depending on the position of the blend door you get cold air or hot air...
Sounds like you are getting warm air mixed with your cold air due to the blend door being in the wrong position.....
To try the relearn procedure do the following....
1. Removed the 10amp HVAC fuse located in the underhood fuse block for 10 seconds...
2. Re-install the fuse
3. Start the vehicle, DO NOT touch or adjust the HVAC settings for 1 full minute while the system goes through its learn procedure....
4. Once the full minute is done you can check the settings of the blend doors by setting primary/drivers side to cold or hot....
If this does not do the trick, most likely the blend door actuator is bad and will need to be replaced...
