Ok, a poll here, please only answer under the following condtions, because my dealer is stating all 2009s they have on the lot do this, and I have been waiting 6 months on a fix from GM.

Please have a 2009 Tahoe or Suburban with FACTORY installed SAT NAV.

Please create an address entry for your home or work if you do not have one.

Please create a voice tag for this entry.

Please then attempt to use the voice tag to go to this destination.

Hold SRC on the wheel (Beep) then say "Navigation Go To My House' (or whatever your tag is)

if it doesn't work, try again, or again, up to 3 times if it does work, great.

If it DOES work, please turn off the radio by removing the key, and opening the driver's door.

Please try it again.

Mine will NEVER work after the radio has been off 1-100 minutes. If it works at all.

I just want to know how widespread this issue is.

On a $53,300 SUV I just want this FACTORY OPTION to work

I know this is a lot to ask, but hey; don't you want to know your's works too?!

 

Have you tried contacting the GM tech support center directly. If it can be duplicated in all vehicles (which I beleive will be the case) they can't just ignore it. Well then again, its an SUV in Obamanation so it may just well be.
