what is this thing?? Definitely Duramax / Allison

has a paddle shifter

I'm a big GM Tahoe fan and have a friend with a 3500 Duramax Silverado but I didn't know it was available in a SUV. I'm going to ask my dealer about it but thought I would throw it out there, is this for real?

That looks like a torsion bar front suspension. I thought at first maybe it was a Mexican or Canadian spec, but I cannot find anything indicating that either country had a DMAX burb option.

I think it is probably a custom job, most likely using a donor diesel pickup.

Wow good find. It looks like they are still working on it. The rear has Z71 fenders still.

Found it! One of the guys at GM-Trucks.com knew about it and hooked me up with a contact, it’s by a place called duraburb and they build them. As for me looks like 20K, 13 on the Donor (they use a whole truck) and 6K to build, add the big rear-end in too and I'm dropin 20. Well it would be cool but out of my pay scale. I talked to a guy named Eric, seems like a nice guy, he even admitted they are too pricy for him too. Oh well that’s what happens when you have champagne taste but a canned beer budget. Brian

That is waaaay cool! Yep, dead give away that it's a custom job cause that's not the Suburban lights and grill but I do like it FO SHO!
