Default 2010 Suburban Engine Replacement Advice

Hello! I have a 2010 Chevy Suburban. I have terrible compression in cylinder one and have been burning oil. Pretty sure I can only replace the spark plug so many times before I need to buy a new engine or get rid of the burb. I have been looking at crate engines. I was thinking of buying a crate engine and having someone else install it. My main questions are:

What (if any) other engine models could I buy without the mechanic having to replace any other engine components off my current engine?

Any good suggestions as to who I should buy an engine from?

Looking to spend as little as possible, with a reliable outcome.

Thanks!!

is the terrible compression on an afm cylinder? you may have a collapsed lifter.

when you buy an engine you get either a short block or long block. google the differences and check the costs to see what is more cost effective.

If something you can live with, try a non-fouler, just screws into the spark plug hole and the spark plug screws into that.

I have an LC9 engine. I want to put an engine in without AFM.

Google is a swamp of random info, but I try.
