2010 suburban tail lights

2010 suburban upper & lower bulbs are independent of each other, top and bottom,
i.e., brake, turn signal & 4way flasher. Has anyone re-wired so that both operate at the same time ?

With todays computer controlled lighting systems I would leave it alone. Any feedback to the BCM module could blow it up. Not worth the chance of hurting expensive modules by doing that just for looks.

probably could be done using some diodes but you do have to careful with loads on the bcm so relays may be the way around it. Aftermarket leds lens assemblies may be already set up for this.
