Hey trainwreck, no problem. I have it at home in my email, I'll post it up tonight. And is it ok to assume you mean, the "upper" line? In my previous post to you, I gave the lower line part number. Thanks!

Just FYI, I have seen the transmission line/pipe referred to as an oil pipe...I believe they are the same thing just don't let the word oil throw you...

Hey trainwreck, Im sorry friend. The upper piper wasn't on the list in the email that gmpartsdirect sent me. I thought they had given it to me, but I was mistaken. You can send them an email describing the part and even showing them the diagram, they can find the part number for you. good luck!

Went to tackle this job today. It was the upper I have. So while I'm waiting for the cat to cool off. I removed the throttle body and cleaned that with berrymans b12. What a disgusting mess that was. So I go to remove the trans line. Pop off the retaining clip from the front. Then go underneath to get the one on the tranny. That thing is in the tightest hard to work in spot. So I managed to pop it off and out. Now trying to snake the line out was a pain. And you have to try to remember so the other goes back in! Going back in was tough. But I finally got it in place. Then I go to attach the rear and it just was not cooperating. Finally get that in. Then the clip. Over and over until I finally lost it!!!!! I'm being patient. And getting frustrated. So I go to the front side. Pops in. Clip slides right on. Go back underneath. Find the clip. Drop it find it drop it find it. Then I drop it and couldn't find it anymore. Gave up. Now I have to find this clip at a parts store or something. The job is not that hard. Just frustrating. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

don't think the clip is sold separately. I think you have to buy the entire threaded fitting that screws into the rad... or get some from the junkyard.

the proper install method is to install the clip first. Insert the end of the clip into one slot then circle it around until it snaps into another slot. You shouldn't spread the clip like a snap ring.
Then press in the hose fitting. pull out of the hose to make sure its locked in; then snap the plastic retainer lock over the hose and clip

Yeah pro. That's the clip! Thanks fellas. Found a set at a local parts store this morning. For future reference it's dorman 800-801. 3 sizes 4 of each. And it would be a good idea to tie a string to it. So u can't lose it. Also I think I was going about it all wrong. You have to put the clip in before the line. Then snap the line in place. Hope this helps anyone looking to do this to theirs

For what is worth, when you search Amazon for part that I posted, it comes up with the clip and also shows the lines as "Frequently Bought Together"
