I cant find a programmer that will do the 5.3 motor anywhere?? I looked at the Diablo and it would do the 4.8 motor but didnt list the 5.3?? Not sure because it says the 5.3 for the 2010 avalanche is available...i assume the motors are the same?
Anyone have a 2010 and gotten a programmer? Thanks

i have reasearched the sh*t out of this myself lol. the way to go is blackbear like the other guys said. i spoke with them on the phone and for the 2010 there is not a program out yet to be able to change the shift points. it would have to be done at their place. i think its about 4-600$ will be doing this myself ASAP i heard nothing but good things about this tune and that it eliminated the need to have an intake exhaust and TBS.

Check out his website and give him a call. One thing to remember is that unless you have an extra stock ECM, the dealer w/ know it's different and might void the powertrain warranty. With an extra, you can swap out before you take it in. Also if the dealer reflashed the ECM, there goes your $300 reprogram. Now I think Justin might redo it for a small fee or free, don't remember. Of course you can't drive the truck while it's gone.

I emailed him and he sent me some link for a programmer that costs $550 bucks. Thats alot for just a little more performance esp when I dont really know how much more ill get. Then theres the chance of voiding warranties, dealers changing it back and other mess. Makes me think its not worth it.
Makes me wanna consider one of the other programmers that are around 250-300 bucks that I can program and go back stock as easy as hooking up the programmer to my tahoe.

If i have spare ECU, can i just "swap" it to not avoid warranty ?
