My wife has a 2011 Chevy Tahoe. Every time she goes to fill the tank, the handle keeps clicking off after a gallon or so, sometimes less. I tried it as well and I have the same problem. I pull the trigger less and it still happens. I twist the handle, lift it, pull it out some, still happens. Chevy dealer replaced a solenoid. However, that did not help. The Chevy Tech said that everything else was fine. I need help. We should not be having this problem. Filling up should be a piece of cake.
Any suggestions?

My wife;s 05 tribute is touchy as hell at the pump. ANNOYS me to no end.

my 09 Tahoe is not. You can pump wide open and fast.

Did your truck always do this, or is this something new?

 

Always did it. There are a couple pumps that work. Most give problems. So frustrating.

 

Are you still under warranty?
