I believe Dexos is made by Shell. Mobil sythetic meets the standard, which I believe is ILSAC-5, as do several others.

Here in Sweden automotive oils are expensive so i order my oils from Germany.
They have GM Dexos II that are almoust at the half price to Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5w30 that i use.
Whats the difference for Dexos I and Dexos II ?

Dexos 2

Dexos 2 is the synthetic blend for diesels.
