Default 2011 Suburban Subwoofer Placement

I have a 2011 Suburban with the Bose system and nav. Looking to possibly add a subwoofer, and if I do, want something more than what I can put in a stealthbox.

Has anyone placed a subwoofer in between the captains chairs and made it look good and semi factory? Looking for options on what to do.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

You could get the GM console that fits there, gut it, and put the sub in.

Any chance you know the part number or have pictures of that?

Looks pretty good. Thank you. I'm wondering if anyone tried to fit a w6 into the front center console area where the factory sub is now.

Do you like that console or do you wish it was an open space to get to the back?

I like it for storing the headphones and remote in. It's a PITA tho when you fold the seats down and it's sticking up in the middle.

I can see that. Also, if I have two car seats up front, people will have to crawl over the center console to get to the back. Seems like a PITA.

a w6 in the front console? that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard lol Ive been installing car radios, professionally, for 12 years and I hear things like this that make me literally lol. What IS a GOOD solution for these trucks is the MTX Thunder box. It fits in place of the stock one now under the front center console. Fits a 10" MTX or you can change it to a JL 10w1 and sounds great. MTX website has good pics check it out. if your local to southern california i can help you too. sorry about the lol it is just funny to me.
