Default 2012 Nav in a 2009?

Is it possible to put a 2012 Nav Unit in a 2009? I have a fully loaded 09 right now but I'm wondering if I could get the 2012 Nav to get iPod integration

Thanks

I encourage you to consult with a certified technician for additional assistance. They will be able to offer more information based on vehicle and navigation unit models.

It is possible to use an iPod on the 2009 unit with the auxiliary input jack; however, it will not be integrated with the screen. Please refer to page 3-102 of the owner's manual for additional instructions.
