Default 2012 suburban noise caught on tape. Pls help

ok, wrote for a half hour and it disappeared. I will edit later, when I have more time, but in a few words, the noise you hear at 07 seconds is when setting the cruise control at about 65 mph and faced with a hill, the transmission shifts to 5th and rpm jumps to 1800. No hill, no noise. Even if I shift manually to 5th. Happens also in awd or if I push the tow button too. Please help.

It looks like it could be a bad u-joint, due to the vibration that you are getting. Since your truck is still under warranty, you should make an appointment with your dealer and take a mechanic out for a drive with you.

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue. Have you had the vehicle inspected by your dealer for this issue?

I'm going there Tuesday morning, but have little hope that the tech could find an open road around here (nyc) to duplicate the noise.

I think any highway will do. You can get up to speed. Also the mechanic may offer to take it home.
