2012 suburban z71 p0300 because of torque converter????
Hello, fellas.
Im looking to see if any of y’all have heard of a torque converter causing a p0300 code.
I’ll try to make this short as possible. I forget all the codes but it started with running lean, then heat resistor to certain cylinder misfires.
durning my repair process I have replaced:
injectors
plugs
wires
all o2 sensors
All possible leaking vacuum lines
2 coil packs (where I was getting an individual cylinder misfire)
MAF
all A/C delco parts.
my fuel pressure at the rail starts at 60 psi then while warm runs about 43ish.
during all of this my torque converter felt like it failing so I took it to a transmission shop, he agreed the torque converter felt like it was going but suggested I solved the codes first. Now I can cycle the truck several times without it throwing a code, but when I get it on the road after a while… when decelerating, it will shudder, then the check light will blink for a bit and then the p0300 will stay on. Is it possible the computer is getting confused because of a bad torque converter???
any help is appreciated!!!
