Default 2012 tahoe help needed to identify door bolt

Hello Guys,
Well I just got around to spring cleaning, and I noticed to my surprise that a door bolt in the hinge area of the driver's door is missing. I am posting an up-close and a zoomed out shot of the driver's side. I also posted the bolt from the passenger door for comparison

. Maybe the passenger side bolt will help in identification ??
Can anyone identify the size of the bolt? I'd like to replace it ASAP. It looks as if the bolt has a built-on washer, but I am not sure.

P.S. The driver's door opens and closes just fine.

THANKS in advance,

Ted

@oldchevy I don't think that's what he's asking about.

@trund might be a good idea to indicate the bolt you're talking about by circling it on the photo

Hello mountain man Joe and old Chevy,
As requested, I circled the empty bolt hole on the driver's side in RED. I circled the actual bolt in yellow, which is on the passenger's side.

Please look at these two photos in conjunction with the original photos in POST #1.

Hope this helps in bolt identification.. Again, thank you for your time.

P.S. It does look as if the bolt has a built-in washer.

Ted

I think junkyard is probably your best bet. I'm sure the dealer will sell you the bolt at an exorbitant price, but ask them and see.

Now I see it. Take out the bolt from the passenger side and go to a hardware store and you can get one, Even Home Depot has metric bolts.

Near me, Ace Hardware has way more metric stuff than Home Depot or Lowes.

I think any hany-man store can help and save you a lot of cash.

Cusser, Pierre, mountain man, and old chevy,

Thanks for the tips. Heading over to the hardware store. I will report back on bolt size by the end of this week.

If mine, I'd remove the bolt from the other side and take that with me into the store to match it.
