Looking for answer to what is the problem of my a/c venting what sounds like overboard at firewall. After approx 30 min driving the air coming out of the register will start to get weak and vent what sounds like outside. Anyone have any info because the dealer cannot figure this out?

 

What does overboard mean?


Does this mean the vents that aim at the passenger and driver? So after a while the air flow comes out under the dash (heat mode) or at windshield (defrost mode)??? Because there are a bunch of electric actuators on these things that direct the air flow, and they do go bad.

 

Yes but doesn't vent thru heater at floor or defrost at windshield also put new electron control module in did not fix.
It sounds like its being vented thru firewall at passenger side into the engine compartment but cant find it and its loud when it does this.
Sometimes when u feel the air starting to not blow as you have selected (force wise) you can select the highest speed and it will correct itself in a few minutes but within 20 minutes same thing again until point it will not correct itself until u turn truck off the after a while it will work normally
