2015 Denali Door Handles
My wife and I were at the 2015 Philly Auto Show... it's big.
The show was well done and put together. The human crowd/public however... I'll just skip for now.
However we will be going to the Black Tie event next year.
Anyway: Sat in the 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 2500. The wife likes it. The side lights are really spiffy. (they light up facing backwards for backing up a trailer in the dark).
the 6.6L turbo diesel and $66k price point all seemed fair.
However when we went to get out. the door handles. Ohh god the doorhandles.
GM decided it would be cool to have a door handle that splits the plastic across the BACK. Not top/bottom. (or not the most common, best, smartest, safest design of a SINGLE freaking piece). but NO, two pieces of sharp, hard plastic with a gap between them.
$66,000 and I nearly sliced my fingers off.
Did they learn nothing?
Back to Ford for me for that list (must tow 18K+)
Jeep brought Camp Jeep and was driving around an indoor 'off road' coarse. that was cool.
Tesla only brought ONE Model S... but I still played with it. (I'm reserving my X next month)!
Nothing else really popped at me ... Ohh the wife wants a G-wagon...
