2015 Suburban LTZ Android Auto
Hey folks,
Yet another 2015 Suburban Android Auto question. When I plug my Android phone into the right-most of the two USB ports in the compartment immediately below the radio, my phone continuously launches/quits android auto. This makes it seem like the truck might have Android Auto compatibility and there's a version mismatch or other issue.
The truck's manual mentions compatibility with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, but my searching online says that this isn't actually the case and a 2016+ radio must be purchased for $1000+ and programmed for the truck. FWIW, I believe it's a Canadian model. I have the 8" radio.
Anyone have any additional thoughts on this? Is it possible that my truck actually does support Android Auto / Apple Carplay?
