I just bought a 2015 suburban ltz 3 weeks ago. We have noticed a high pitch noise on the driver side that is like a ringing in the ear type of noise. It is occurring when you accelerate. Not sure what the problem is?! The vehicle has less than 1000 miles on it and the noise is so distracting its a pain to drive. Does anyone have any suggestions? We did have the tires and rims changed at the dealer about a week ago.

 

Sunroof?

 

It is specifically when accelerating and then goes away.

 

Ours did this. Came from the driver's side mirror. I installed tow mirrors and it went away.

I was reading on here about another complaint about a noise. A high pitched noise.
Another complained about a noise that they tested a repair by putting a spare on the roof.

Had it at the dealer today. Quick fix. Tech said they had another guy in last week complaining of the same problem. It was the dial for the 4 wheel drive. We had it on auto. When you move it to 2 wheel the noise stops!
