2016 Computer Glitches
I recently upgraded to a 2016 LTZ, I am having problems in that the heated seats will not come on with the remote start. I have went thru the menu and have that turned on. I also have had a problem where when I get in the vehicle and start it it says that it has synced with my Iphone but then all controls lock up on the steering wheel and you cannot use any of the buttons on the steering wheel unless you restart the car. last but not least car play will not work with my Iphone unless I plug it in. Has anyone else had these problems?
Ive not had your problems, but we have weird quirks of our own on our 2016 LTZ Tahoe:
Radio comes on by itself at engine start.
Radio comes on by itself at random times when driving.
Automatic hi-beam dimmer works intermittently/not at all.
Forward collision alert, at max setting, does not activate until < one car length from vehicle being followed.
Lane keep assist works only intermittently/not at all.
Engine remote start works only intermittently/not at all.
Navigation system pales in comparison to Google Maps on my smartphone.
Overall, we like our Tahoe, but rue the decision to buy LTZ trim, since many of the included trim options do not work, or work only intermittently. I would strongly advise anyone interested in a Tahoe to definitely NOT opt for the more expensive trim levels. It's a waste of money. We would have been far better off had we bought the base level Tahoe, and then gone to the aftermarket for any upgrades such as leather seats and sound systems. We could have saved several thousand dollars, and saved the aggravation of nonworking or quirky features.

Ive had same experience as above as far as repair goes... Sympathize with techs tho, cause you can't really fix something when it works sporadically. Too bad these quirks don't qualify under Lemon Law, otherwise I'd get my money back, and buy the base model, saving $15 grand.

Latest update: dealership installed the 3rd forward view camera...still no joy. Then they "reprogrammed the system", and all featudes seemed to work fine when I left the dealership. By the time I got home, lane keep assist and forward collision alert were again working only sporadically. Radio continues to switch on unexpectedly, at random startups. Dont know about (and no longer care about) whether auto high beam switch and remote engine start work.
I rue the day I bought this vehicle, and am now actively searching for a reasonable trade for an LS trim model.
