Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Default 2016 high mileage new motor or older low miles?

I'm looking to get another suburban. In my price range I am finding lower mileage 2000-2007 suburbans and have found a couple newer, 2016ish, suburbans with high mileage (300k-350k) but with new motors and transmissions. In your opinion what would be a better option for longevity and fewer problems. The older ones will need the 4L60E transmissions replaced at some point.

What do you consider low mileage for the 1st group, and how many miles on the motor/trans in the newer group?
