My 16 Tahoe radio (sound and screen) will work during first start up in AM( or when its cool outside) once the vehicle has ran for a while or its hot outside, the radio will not cut on, blank scree, no my link, nothing. But the back up camera always works.
need help. Dealership did not diagnose, only priced out a full radio replacement.

I wish I could help you out, but these new radio's are beyond my ken. Need a two-way VHS or CB radio, then I could help you out.

 

You could try cleaning all plugs/pins and apply dielectric grease before buying a new unit. Junkyard for replacement unitis another option. Good luck, intermittent electronics suck,

most modern radio issues require either an update by the dealer or radio replacement. if there is an update available from the dealer that addresses this issue...start there.
