We have just owned our Suburban for 9 days, and love it. Only wish is that they still made the Avalanche, which is what we traded in for this truck.

We have been experiencing odd issues with the remote start - the truck is starting itself without input from the fob or the MyChevrolet App. Several times it happened when we weren't outside or even thinking about the truck. Other instances have occurred when I pushed the unlock button on the fob, which I was doing because it had started by itself the previous day when I used the keyless entry - pushing the small button on the door handle, with the fob in my pocket, to unlock the truck. So far, we have had at least 9 instances in the last two days - a couple of times we were already in our jammies, not thinking about the truck at all, and hear the engine start. My husband's uncle was an electrical engineer for GM truck for many years, now retired. He is completely stumped as to how or why this is happening.

We have called OnStar, they don't even show that we have logged into the app, and show no activity with regards to the remote start. We disabled one of the fobs (pulled the battery), as it is kinda beat up, so we thought maybe a sticky button, but that wouldn't explain the two times it did this when that fob was miles away.

Has anyone else had this type of issue with any vehicle before? We are going to call the dealer tomorrow to have them look at it. There is one aftermarket item on the truck that we discovered accidentally - apparently the previous owner was some type of emergency responder - he had installed a Speed Turtle module that blinks all of the lights. We are going to request that the dealership remove this, as we have turned it on accidentally a couple of times.
