2019 Tahoe

When I press the on/off button (lol) to turn the engine off, the interior lights come on. I don't want them to come on until I open a door.

I have the Dome Lamp switch in the overhead console set to "Door".

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe the lights go off automatically after a certain time; do on my 2005 Yukon.

Unfortunately, the electronics keep getting more complicated every year....
