Default 2019 Tahoe poor AM radio reception

I just traded my 2014 Tahoe for a new 2019 Tahoe. I am disappointed with my 2019 Tahoe AM radio reception. It does NOT seem to be as good as my older 2014 Tahoe AM radio reception.
I have not moved. I am driving within the same area, but the new 2019 AM radio has more interference and a weaker signal (fades in and out more as I am driving).
What has changed between the two Tahoe's ? How can I improve the reception on my 2019 Tahoe AM radio reception ?
Thanks for any suggestions.
