Default Rear suspension issue and EVAP code P0455! Please help!

Hi everyone! I’m having a few issues with my 2010 Suburban LTZ! My EVAP tighten gas cap code and large EVAP leak keeps showing up. Changed a tube and charcoal canister, and multiple gas caps! Anyone have any more ideas before finding a place to smoke test? My other issue is my compressor for my auto ride has stopped working. My suspension in the rear now sags with weight. How do I see if it’s the compressor burnt out, a leak in my shocks, or both? Any ideas? Or maybe relays? I checked all the fuses and they are all good!

vent valves are common failures to set a evap large leak. it is located on the evap cannister. it will have a 2 wire connector.
with key on one wire should have battery voltage. the other wire goes to the pcm. the pcm supplies grd to close the solenoid. jumper the grd wire to battery or chassis grd and see if the solenoid clicks when engergized...if you hear nothing...replace the vent valve solenoid.

Default Vent valve solenoid

Hi! Thanks for the reply. I changed out the whole canister and harness. I’ll check the solenoid, but it’s brand new, so it should be fine. What are your thoughts on this? I bought it from NAPA.

confirm that the new vent solenoid is closing by doing the test I suggested. if it works I will look elsewhere. Any issues with a hard start after refueling?

Hi! Quite the opposite actually. I’ve had some hard starts when the tank is on 1/4 or less. When it’s full or more then half, it’s fine. I will check the solenoid.
