Just got my 2021 Tahoe back from the dealer $1000 for a 20 dollar sunroof drain hose. Car smell like mildew really bad. And I’m stuck with it. Only 2.5 years old but over miles. Now stuck with a 70K car that I probably can’t even sell cause it stinks. Contacted HQ but was told tough luck, out of warranty. Been a loyal Chevy owner. Last 6 new cars were Tahoe/Suburban.

 

That's something you have to be aware of on all vehicles with sunroofs. Not sure why the manufacturer would matter.
Anyway, is there a question?

 

No question, just wanted people to know that Chevy Tahoe/Suburban have a bad problem with their sunroof drain (That they know about) and will not do anything about it.

 

So are you going to share what that problem is, or do we guess? ......

 

All sunroofs have a drain tube, usually at the front corners. They tend to get clogged, especially if you park near or under a tree. You can usually unclog them by using a fine wire as a snake.
