2021 Tahoe Infotainment Screen Black Out
I have a new 2021 Tahoe. Took delivery in November. One week after delivery had the screen go completely black. When you shut off vehicle and leave off for 15 mins the screen came back on. Call the dealer and reported the issue. Was told next time it happens to schedule an apt. One week later it did the same thing. Scheduled an apt. Dealer service said there was nothing they could do or see wrong while there. As I was driving home the screen blacked out again. I drove back to the dealer and did not shut the vehicle off so the service could check. They supposedly checked it out and was told to bring it back the next week and they would need it for a week. One week later I checked to see if it was repaired and told that I needed to come in a meet with the service manager to discuss findings.
Went in and met with them and was told the issue was my cell phone. They deleated my profile on the vehicle and was told I could not connect my phone back to it. This is absolutely crazy! The service manager pulled a flip phone out of his pocket and said this is the only kind of cell phone needed. I have 5 other vehicles, some GM, Land Rover, Corvette and a Jeep. I travel much for my job and rent cars often and never have had issues with the same exact phone that this dealer is telling me is the problem. The dealer told me I was the one customer that has this issue and that GM would not spend any resource to resolve if one one person has the problem.
What is really troubling is the dealer new I was leaving with this new vehicle in Jan and would not be back in our area for 3 months and was planning to be able to use this vehicle as intended. Now after 2 months I have had the screen black out about every other day! Do you know how difficult and unsafe it is to be driving in a city using navigational to get a round and have the screen black out.
I am looking any help to get this resolved!

SAME THING! Though my tahoe is a 2017. My infotainment center console goes black randomly and no phone is connected. Took it to chevy many times and even my local mechanics and they couldn't "reenact" what I was experiencing. I took a video and showed them, but they weren't able to find the root cause. But because the car is all electrical, it could be a fuse, a wire, a connection, or the electrical system itself and would need to keep the car for a while. Kept my car for a week and they still couldn't find the issue. I'm supposed to live with this? An issue that is very frustrating and then keep making my car payment for a vehicle that is problematic... Chevy doesn't honor their product.
