After rotating tires on the 2021 Tahoe do I need to reprogram the tire pressure minitors or will they program themselves?

 

they need to be registered to the new position with a registry tool. the tool is pretty cheap.

if not done the system still works....just shows the old position.

not required for dodge products cause they run 3 additional Id modules

The driver information center should give you the option to relearn the sensor positions. Without an activation tool, a strong magnet (such as a speaker magnet) will work, or you can let up to 10 PSI of air out of the tire while in learn mode. The horn will honk twice when learn mode is activated, once for each learned sensor, and twice when the whole process is complete (or if it times out).

Start at the driver front, then passenger front, passenger rear, driver rear.

Learn mode will time out after 2 minutes, regardless of whether or not all the sensors are learned.
