I'm thinking of purchasing a Suburban but it is missing the parking assist. Likely problematic for my wife.

Looks like the PDU is available via GM Part suppliers for ~$45. What would stop me purchasing this and retrofitting it? Anyone got the schematic?

Coming from BMWs the programming sw is easily found online, similar case for Chevy/GM?

 

Being it's brand new I doubt anyone has any info on upgrades or a schematic. Issue would be is that the harness is wired for it, sensors in the bumper and the BCM would have to be programmed. BCM, body control module, programming is dealer only.

 

Do you happen to know where the PDU is to be located? Trying to understand where to locate the wiring harness.

 

I don't' know, it could be anywhere. Shop manual has parts locator diagrams.
