Default 2023 Suburban Suspension Sag While towing

Hi new to the group looking for help. 2023 Suburban Premier without the max towing package. Had a trailer break controller installed. I tow a stealth deck over trailer with 3-4 snowmobiles at a time. It's the shortest stealth trailer (2014 version) made to fit 4 sleds. Sleds are balanced and secured properly but the suspension sags too much where the tandem axles are uneven and the trailer dangerously is pushed by the wind while towing. Pulled this same trailer with my 2018 with no issue but my 2018 had a self leveling suspension - for whatever reason this one does not. Are there suspension upgrades to help with this? Any other ideas?

Welcome from Florida. You can try sliding the axles on the trailer forward to balance the load on the trailer and lower the tongue weight.

Default Tongue Weight

Using a weigh safe hitch - it shows 700lbs of tongue weight. Two Yamaha Venoms (teen age size sled) and one Yamaha viper 137. 700lbs is way more than I thought.

Default you need a weight distribution hitch

I have a 2023 Suburban Premier and tow a 30' travel trailer and use a weight distribution hitch. They are made to lower the front end and raise the rear end of the vehicle. Another issue is the suburban's don't have a straight axle in the back. I drove 18K miles and blew out the right rear tire of my suburban. One inch of the inside of both tires wore down to the wires and the right side blew. My tongue weight is more than it should be. but still...

My trailer is at a shop right now and they are looking into the axel placement. In the meantime time does anyone have recommendations for upgrading the suspension to a self leveling setup? Even towing my two place trailer it seems like the rear sags too much.

Default Weight Distribution Hitch

After completing a little Googling - can you back up with a weight distribution hitch?

Yes, no problem backing up with a weight distribution hitch. I also use a sway bar and I remove the tension from it before I back up and any sharp turns in the RV park.
