Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
Greetings. Was wondering if anyone has a fix for this. I have a 2023 Suburban. Was disappointed to take it out in the hills and find that the ground clearance is terrible...The sway bar sits at 7-8 inches off the ground, but the real problem is that it's at that height all the way across the vehicle. So pretty hard to straddle anything, etc. Was wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket sway bar that tucks up between the frame? Thanks in advance for your ideas.
Interesting. Do you have a photo from the front showing this?
Didn't have one from the front, but here's one from the rear and the side. Seems like it could have been tucked up in there a little tighter. View from rear of 2023 suburban sway bar View from side of 2023 suburban rear sway bar
ohhhhhhh it's a REAR sway bar.
Yeah, that does look kinda dumb. But does it hang below that rear suspension crossmember?
The side view shows how it is mounted below the frame and then runs straight across. The crossmember at the wheel is lower yet, but it's not very wide. The sway bar is about 7" off the ground all the way across the vehicle. Like having a rear differential all the way across the back...
