22' sensor error
What wheels are those? I am having issues trying to find ones I like with the 31+ offset. Everyone is on back order or they just are not making them in that offset. I want 22+ with 305's on them. Anyone know of issues with that?
Thats is one good looking Tahoe...

i have seen the sensors on e-bay fairley reasonable, i don't see why a tire shop couldn't install them. and i guess you would have to ask the wheel manufacturer if they will fit

Great picture. What brand and model wheels are those?
How bad is the rubbing? ONly while in reverse? Not while actually driving?
Do you have the factory brakes, rotors? Has it affected your stopping ability?
As for the offset, what offset do you want? Will different offsets affect the amount of rubbing?
More pictures please from anyone with aftermarket wheels.

Yup they are 313s. I paid $3k for them with tires (at the time..i noticed prices have been dropping on everything). In reverse, going into a hard turn, you can hear them rub against the front lip of the plastic well cover. When you actually get into a full hard turn, they stop hitting the lip and just rub against the plastic (you dont hear it anymore) so I generally make a full streering wheel turn before I start moving in reverse.

Are those wheels the Boss 313's? Where did you get them and price if you dont mind?
What does everyone think about TIS 04's or TIS 06 wheels?
Thanks

Actually I take issue with 24s for a single reason. They size difference basically makes AFM/4cyl mode non-existant. I get 12-13mpg in the city, and 12-13mpg on the highway. You also feel the loss of power. If I did it all again, I would stick with 22s.. they match the same diamater as the stock 20s that come with the LTZ. The brakes on the 07 are awsome, so the 24s dont even phase them. As for the offset, they only come in +12 which does make them stick out a bit +22 (in 10" inch rim) would probably be a flush fit.

vys,
HOw did the 24's affect the ride of your tahoe. Is it significantly rougher, louder, etc? Thanks.
Want to sell those wheels and tires cheap? I have the stock 20's with less than 400 miles on them????

biglg,
Go to craigslist to sell your stock wheels and tires. Sold mine for $1000. Put them on in the morning and by mid-day I already had 5 responses. I know that sticking with 285's I had no rubbing, so going to 305's I know that it would rub at some point. To look up some wheels go to Wheel Connection, Discount Tire, or Wheel Pros.

Thanks for the info. Who and how did you ship the wheels and tires? What was the actual cost to ship them?
What is craiglist? Never heard of them? Sorry for the ignorance.
I was looking at the boss 313's. A friend of mine can get them for me at cost, that is why I am so set on aewheels, boss, eage, etc. The 313's are the only 24's. HOwever, they come in +12 and +40 offset. I am assuming the 40 would be the better choice?

I had discount tire put the tire sensors in from my old 20" wheels and everything works fine. I have 24x9.5 wheels with 305/35/24 tires and they dont rub at all. It cost a little extra to install them but its better than having the low tire pressure alert going off
