is it easy to switch to captain seating in the second row? if so does anyone know how much it would be? i have second row bench and after reading this i would love to switch over to captain seating.

 

With the 2nd row bench you can put two boosters on the left hand section and leave the right hand section flipped forward for easy access to 3rd row. Just a thought. Works for my daughter who puts the twins in 2nd row and the two older kids in 3rd row.

 

we have the ltz with 2nd captains and wanted the bench for the 3 kids when we needed the extra space in the rear for groceries, travel, etc.. we found a guy in TX that got the bench for us and it should arrive mon or tues.. will post on how well the exchange goes when my husband attempts it.. he thinks it should be fairly simple.. we did have to get the plastic part that covers the bottom of the bench separately as well..

 

I presently have captain chairs in 07 LT3. I just purchased a bench seat from E-bay for $500.00 new. If someone is looking for a pair of Captain leather black seats you can have them for $500.00 for the pair. My Tahoe is 2 months old and the seats are in excellent condition. No pets or kids......

 

I have an LTZ with 2nd row bench. For me it was a requirement. With 2nd row bench and 3rd row seats out, you have less seating then a mid size sedan...doesn't make sense. Also, with buckets, there is no barrier to hide all the junk you have in the back..buckets are cool looking, but I think most people wish they had the buckets the first time a group of five says, "Let's take your Tahoe since it is so big and we can all fit"...hehehehe...then you end up in a Civic...

 

are all the captain seats in Tahoe 07-14 reclinable? Or select ones?
