Default 3rd row seat belt

Just purchased a 2007 LT with quad seating. Stuck the two little ones in the 3rd row seat and the seat belts don't seem to work like a regular seat belt...they tighten up and won't release to allow some freedom of movement...unless you unbuckle.

All three belts do this. Are they supposed to do this? If so, how do you coax the kids to keep the belts on?

Welcome to the forum.

The seat belts will lock up if you pull the shoulder belt all the way out and release it.

Thanks 73shark. I reread the manual...the rear belts are short...for small people...I was pulling them out too far when I sat there. They work fine for the little ones.
