I have a 2002 Z71 and now when I switch to 4wd, the service 4WD light comes on and I can not switch back to 2wd without turning the Tahoe off. When I start it back up, I can then switch back to 2wd. Can suggests on the problem and possible solutions?

Default 4x4 problem

Chevrolet has had problems with the four-wheel drive switch. You might try replacing the switch to see if that will fix it. Switch is relativly cheap from the dealer

Ive found I have to throw it in nutural and be going like 5-10 mph for it to pop out of 4wd, especially out of low.
