4x4 w/engine off 09Tahoe
So I put my Tahoe back in 2WD after shutting the engine off.
from 4WD.
when I started it, I had to turn it back to 4x4 then back to 2WD to get out of 4x4.
apparently it only works if the vehicle is 'on'...
just FYI...
it must only poll the sensor upon change, if vehicle is on.
it does not poll the **** at any interval.

I miss the reach down and throw the lever of my '95 Tahoe...
the feel of metal grabbing always made me happy in a 4x4!
As a side note; it snowed 8" here in PA last night...
2009 Tahoe: $55,000
16.5MPG: $$$$
Passing cars doing 20 in a 45... PRICELESS...
Not having to shovel my driveway, even better.
It still does 0-60 in under 12 seconds in 6" of snow!
