5.3L 02 tahoe failing after 20min of driving
so im going down the road. After driving like 30minutes truck stalls on the bypass going 70mph! so i let it roll so i can pull over. i try to start it and its like making muffling noises idk how to explain. But anyway let it sit for about 5min. And itll start back up. But it stalls again like every 5minutes. after it stalled the last time it acted like it didint want to change gears. Im just tired of this it happens all the time, good thing i work 10minutes from home. the truck wont even start under a quarter tank of gas. So whats the problem? idk where to start. My mom said it needs a tune up but i think its way more serious. SORRY FOR THE LONG READ

Welcome to the forum.
You should take it in for service. It may be something simple now that can become serious later. One thing, I wouldn't go in mentioning "a tune up" and give them preconceived ideas. Just describe the symptoms and let them diagnose the problem.
