5.3L GM warranty reimbursements
Hello All,
Have read where there were multiple lawsuits started against GM,,in regards to AFM/DOD fiasco motors. Have looked and never found anything in regards to anything happening ion this matter .
Have also read very recently were many many of the 2021 5.3L motors are failing lifters at as little as 3,000 miles.
Was there anything ever done by GM to circumvent this,,or any partial reimbursment of having cam & lifters replaced? Guessing most likely,,, NOT.

nothing done out of normal warranty period to my knowledge.
the gmt 900 engine problems were related to oil consumption on afm engines. there were separate issues regarding lifter failures but not at the mileage the 2021 are having.
