Welcome from Florida. I would want a new engine but would accept the repair if they changed all the lifters and push rods.

I called gm Monday to let them know about my feelings towards a rebuilt motor. First thing they say is so you want the buy back program i say I guess. Well the lady says will send over a conformation and someone will contact you. Here it is weds nite they had all day yesterday and today no call or email. The funny thing is there was a email to review my new vehicle all 0s let’s see if someone calls now.

Its not an engine problem...its a lifter problem...hydraulic lifter collapses causing the pushrod to move out of alignment.
