5yr / 76k mile maintenance
Got my part tote of parts ready, Belts, Hoses, Thermostat, Dex-cool 50/50, Brake Pads all the way around and new front rotors... there was supposed to be an Air filter in there too... and it looks like I forgot to request brake fluid

Nothing really, but I'd rather just replace them when I do the pads. Save myself the trouble of dealing with any warping later on....

Got it all knocked out today... the weather was perfect...
I pulled the air cleaner box out to clean it and found a bolt for the over flow tank with the head busted off must have come from the factory like that...
I ended up removing the bracket that hold the filter box also as it give your great access to the lower radiator hose clamp....
Since I had the snorkel out I also removed and cleaned the throttle plate of the carbon build up....
The metal fittings for the hoses, as well as the thermostat housing looked great no corrosion or pitting, no problems with the DexCool here...
While I had the over flow tank out I also took a Sharpie to the full cold mark and made it more visible
The belts were a breeze, I even have a cool tool for doing the belts.. a standard 3/8 ratchet can also work, but for close quarters this bar and the assorted inserts work really well for getting leverage...
The belts, hoses and coolant took about 2 hrs at an easy pace...

I also got to get the rear brake pads and front pads and rotors knocked out... I was surprised at the wear that was on the caliper pins... I lubed them up well with silicon paste after cleaning...
OEM high end parts are the only way to go for me... the pads came with new shims and a quite padding already on the back of the new pads..
My pads were in pretty decent shape, it was the dealership service that said they were getting near... the passenger, inside pad was the only one I would have considered getting close... the rest had easily another 25k miles on them however the front rotors were definitely getting grooved and did not seem to be wearing evenly, it was an easy replace
I bled the brakes and the fluid did come out a bit cruddy for the rears and green!....
