Default 91 Suburban 2500 4x4 electrical problem

I am having a fun time trying to figure this one out guys. When it turns cold outside i would say -20 or -25 there will be no power when u turn the ignition switch to on or start position. by no power i mean no indicator lights, no accessories, no starter crank. Interior lights and head lights do work and the battery is good. Now for the head scratcher put it inside warm it up and everthing works great, warmer weather no problem. I put a car warmer in the cab trying to determine if it is a in-cab or underhood problem and it didnt work with the cab warmed up. changed the ignition switch ( not lock cylinder) same thing. I am now stuck and don't know where to look or try next. Luv this truck ain't pretty anymore but is like a tank in deep snow. What do i check next guys, any help appreciated.

Thanks Al

Welcome to the forum.

I suspect a bad connection, probably a ground, under the hood.
