I did a look up on this and could not find anything.

The vent control is flashing on an off, and the vent is stuck blowing air out of the defrost.


In case anyone has forgotten what it looks like, here is an image reminder.


The whole left side of the display with the squares and right pointing arrows is flashing.

Could it be an actuator problem?

Just an update for anyone else having this issue. My guess was correct on a bad A/C Heater Blend Door Actuator. This one for $40 is nearly all plastic, but they do have one with metal gears for about double the price.
