im getting ready to buy a 95 chevy suburban the guy says it runs fine the only thing is that the tranny kicks going into 2nd gear he says it has 160,000 miles on it should i buy it or just let it go please help thanks

Have you driven it? Is it priced such that you can get a tranny overhaul and not be upside down? Are you able to do your own work or do you have a good mechanic?
