Default 95 tahoe idler arm

just bought a 95 tahoe already had a 3" lift on it tried to go get an alignment done and was not able to. i was told that the idiot that did it never replace any of the steering components to compensate for the big tires. i am told that i need a new idler arm and pitman arm among other things. anyone know what kinda cost i could be looking at getting this stuff replaced? please help

Welcome to the forum.

Idler arms are in the $20 range and not sure about the pitman arm. You'll need a good pitman arm puller to get it off and a pickle fork.

careful with the pitman arm removal. I had to remove the steering gear box to remove the old pitman arm. Do not excessive force when removing - could result in damage to gear box

2 or 3 jaw puller and few taps with a small hammer should do the trick
