Question 97 suburban abs module issue/ soft brakes

97 k1500 suburban. Soft brakes. Can feel lower bleeder on abs module taking in air when pressing on brakes with truck running. Think it may be part of soft brake issue. Have to push pedal practically to floor to get good bite. Top bleeder has a plunger that pushes out when brakes are pressed but bottom has no plunger. Pics included. Is that normal to have no plunger? If not, what are some fixes to keep air from coming in or fix abs module issue without bypassing module.

Bolt and spring only thing removable from lower abs module.

Can see straight thru.

Inside of lower abs bleeder with bolt and spring removed. Does drip fluid freely and squirts when brakes pushed.
